LACOTEQ is a company offering precision mechanics and locksmithing services for industry. Founded in 2019 by Arpin Melvin and Genevay Benoît, today it carries out work for various industrial sectors.

OUR MISSION

Our aim is to make your life easier by offering you a simple, fast and intuitive quotation service. We guarantee a quotation in less than 48 hours for the production of simple mechanical parts.

For projects, please submit them to us in a detailed email so that we can advise you as best we can and thus guarantee their successful completion.

Our development so far

June 2019 - Creation of LACOTEQ

At the end of our apprenticeship, we decided to found our own company, combining the latest Industry 4.0 technologies, and LACOTEQ was born.

September 2020 - Acquisition of premises

We succeeded in acquiring workspace in the town of Bassins, located in the Nyon region. This has enabled us to develop our activities to the full.

November 2020 - First machines

We used our savings to invest in conventional machines to start up our reworking and prototyping activities, so that we could start offering our services to private customers.

February 2021 - First customers

Our first contract with Miko Engineering and Marketing was instrumental in getting our company off the ground, enabling us to start providing our services and build up a certain reputation.

October 2022 - First project

"Linked to the evening studies of one of the co-founders, the first ‘interactive wick measurer’ project required the combination of CAD design, MATLAB programming, 3D printing and conventional machining.

January 2025 - Website opening

In order to grow as a company and strengthen our customer list, setting up a website was crucial to boosting our presence and visibility.
